Ah, to be a kid again. You don’t have to worry about what people think about you. You can do what you want and not get in trouble for it. And if you do, you only get sent to your room! Everybody thinks you’re cute, everyone gives you high fives for being cute and you get to experience everything for the first time. The world is so brand new!
Sure some kids are shy about exploring, but others are not at all, and they have zero qualms about saying what’s on their mind or doing whatever they want to do.
Little William is 2-years-old, but at a gala, he proved he might be well beyond his years. This precocious little boy jumped on an empty dance floor and did what makes most grown adults cringe. Afterall, his parents dance and coach at Studio 43; they are no strangers to the limelight and have competed internationally, both well-known in the dance scene in Denmark. Although ballroom dancing is their forte, William might have taken a liking to a different genre.
So at the gala, when Elvis Presley’s “Jailhouse Rock” starts playing, William flies onto the floor to bust a move. Actually, lots of moves! Some of the most serious steps I’ve ever seen come from a kid. He is galloping, jumping, shuffling and swinging those hips like it’s going out of style! Everyone is clapping, and cheering and going wild as this natural born performer works the audience. He is fearless. Laughing and giggling and bursting with joy. This little man is awesome. We could all learn how to break the dance floor ice from him!
